International Press Correspondence
1922
The international press service of the Communist InternationalProduced in multiple languages this journals, published irregularly but striving for a 3 times a week publication in a many languages was aimed at the daily and weekly newspapers of the various sections of the Comintern.
Published, variously, in Berlin, 1921-1923; published in Vienna, 1924-1929; published again in Berlin, 1930-32; English edition published in London, by H.R.G. Jefferson, 1934-1938⟶ Back to the main Inprecor age ⟵
The Riazanov Library digital archive project began attempting to provide to all images of the well over 10,000 pages of International Press Correspondence beginning in June, 2018. The goal has been to provide a complete run of all issues from the years 1921 (when this publication began) through 1934. We're still a ways from achieving that, but over the last several years Holt Labor Library, Tim Davenport, and YIVO helped us access substantial numbers of issues from original paper. More recently Bolerium Books of San Francisco aided us in acquiring complete runs of original paper for 1921, 1922, 1925 and 1927, so that for these two years we can now present very high quality images of this periodical, scanned page by page at 600 dpi from original paper (with rare occasional artwork scanned at up to 2400 dpi).
As of November 2021, all (but one) scans of the complete run of Inprecor for 1922 have been made by scanning original paper issues. They are of much higher quality than the images we previously provided, scanned from microfilm.
This is a huge project, and continues to be a work in progress.
