COMMUNIST PARTY OF INDIA (MARXIST-LENINIST) [NAXALBARI]
The CPI(ML)(Naxalbari) had its roots in the former Central Reorganisation Committee of the CPI(ML), itself one of a number of centres that emerged from the CPI(ML) founded by Charu Mazumdar in 1970. CPI (ML) Naxalbari was a member of the Revolutionary Internationalist Movement (RIM) and of the Coordination Committee of Maoist Parties and Organisations of South Asia (CCOMPOSA). The RIM-membership was inherited from CRC, CPI (ML), which was one of three founding organisations of RIM.
On 1 May 2014 the CPI (ML) (Naxalbari) merged with the CPI (Maoist) and formed a single party, the CPI (Maoist).
