In my opinion, Frunze asks too much. We must first capture the whole of the Ukraine, Turkestan can wait and make the best of it for a time.[1]
[1] In a conversation by direct line with members of the Turkestan Commission, Frunze said: “The refusal to send top-level political workers is due to the big demands of the Southern Front and the Ukraine....
